About RSC AC
RSC AC is the largest integrated scientific center in Russia in the area of applied chemistry. It can perform:
- Investigations in chemistry and chemical engineering;
- Development of chemical processes;
- Chemical engineering
- Designing of chemical plants;
- Pilot production of chemical products;
- Ecological researches
Main directions of activity are as follows:
- Chemistry and technology of fluorine-containing compounds;
- Development of new ozone- protecting Freon, modification of the existing Freon plants for manufacturing ozone-protecting Freon;
- Design of chemical processes for basic organic synthesis and inorganic synthesis, processes for manufacturing pharmaceutical compositions, membranes, sorbents and catalysts of technological and ecological purposes, high purity substances, products for laser- and photo-chemistry;
- Ecological and chemical safety;
- Production of composite materials, polymers and isotope-containing materials;
- Creation of experimental installations.
RSC AC's staff members are highly qualified scientists, engineers and technicians, ensuring state of the art implementation of fundamental researches and designs. The staff includes members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, doctors of science, and PhDs.
RSC AC works in close cooperation with the Russian Academy of Science, universities, other applied-research centers, and design institutions.
Facilities and Equipment
- R&D institute that unites several problem-oriented research departments responsible for experimental investigations of new technologies or processes that are to be modified, and for exploratory designs;
- Designing institute capable of complete design of industrial chemical plants;
- Broad profile pilot plant that has available both pilot installations and small-scale production processes.
One of the important advantages of RSC AC is its integration that allows covering the whole cycle of a process development from preproject scientific investigation until designing of an industrial plant.
RSC AC has at its disposal the up-to-date analytical instruments, various laboratory and plant installations, powerful computers and state-of-the-art Internet service.
TopCollaboration
For more than ten years RSC AC collaborated and continues collaboration with big chemical companies from the USA, Japan, Germany, France, China. RSC AC is very interested in widening of collaboration with foreign chemical companies in all the main directions of its activity, specifically in the creation of joint laboratories.
Many of the senior scientists are worldwide known experts in the corresponding areas, they actively participate in international symposia and conferences.
RSC AC is interested in organizing an advanced training exchange program with foreign companies.
