Pavlodar Chemical Plant

The Pavlodar Chemical Plant is located on the banks of the Irtysh River in northern Kazakhstan . The first nitrogen and oxygen production at this facility began in 1973. Since that time, the plant has expanded its product lines and facilities. Chemical production lines at the plant have included caustic soda, chlorine, sodium hypochlorite, ammonium chloride, lubricating oil additives, flotation agents, antifreezes, phenol-formaldehyde resins, and plasticizers for PVC resins. Today, parts of this plant are now owned by private companies and investors, including JSC "Caustic" and Reagent-Vostok . Although some of the commercial production lines at this facility have been phased out, specialized custom lines have been created in collaboration with private companies on a variety of projects at the site.
