The BioIndustry Initiative (BII) promotes collaborative efforts between U.S. and Western Industry and Academic Partners and BII Partner Institutions in the Russian Federation and CIS countries. BII Partner Institutions, often previously “closed” facilities, offer unique and novel expertise, capacities, technologies and opportunities in every area of biotechnology.

The core capabilities of BII Partner Institutions in the Russian Federation and CIS countries span the entire biotechnology spectrum from basic research and development, drug discovery, preclinical and clinical testing to the production of novel drugs, vaccines and diagnostics for the market.
